When I started online, I didn’t have a trust fund, a mentor, or a polished home office setup. I had a laptop, and a Wi-Fi signal that barely held.

My first VA job paid me $5/hour.

I was exhausted, broke, and doing “everything for everyone.” But I had a moment, an enough-is-enough moment. That’s when I stopped playing the well-rounded game and got strategic.

I niched into digital marketing, developed backend workflows, created SOPs for my clients, and turned basic admin into premium packages.

My rates went from $5 → $21 → $60/hour. Eventually, I pivoted to retainers, hired myself, and never looked back.
