Helping Founders Build Capacity & VAs Build Confidence
I’m Tricia Harrison—Virtual Assistant turned VA recruiter, OBM strategist, and remote work mentor.

From $5/hour on Upwork to building a multi-hyphenate online business from my kitchen table in Barbados, I’ve seen every side of remote work—and now I help others do it smarter.

I’m the founder of The Remote Catalyst—a boutique VA recruitment agency + operations support brand for fast-growing founders. I also mentor Virtual Assistants and remote newbies who are ready to stop guessing and start building something sustainable.

Whether you're a visionary business owner drowning in daily tasks, or a VA trying to escape $300 retainers that drain your energy—I’m here to get you out of survival mode and into strategy.

From Scrappy to Specialist (The Real Origin Story)
When I first started online, I didn’t have a roadmap. No trust fund, no fancy setup, and no coach.
I was working full-time, raising a child, and running on 4 hours of sleep trying to build something that didn’t even feel possible.

My first VA gig paid $5/hour.
I was broke, exhausted, and doing everything for everyone.

But I had a moment—an enough-is-enough moment.
And that’s when I stopped trying to look “well-rounded” and started getting intentional.

I niched down. I specialized in digital marketing support.
I built custom workflows, created client-facing SOPs, and turned basic admin into premium packages.
I raised my rates from $5 to $21 to $60 an hour—and then made the leap to retainer-based clients.
Eventually, I hired myself. And never looked back.

What I Do Now
For Founders:
I help you reclaim your time by placing Virtual Assistants who actually fit your team—not just technically, but energetically. And if you need backend support, I offer OBM services that get your systems, team, and launches running without you watching over every detail.

For Virtual Assistants:
I help you get clear on your niche, raise your prices, package your skills, and build a sustainable business. My programs are built for burnt-out generalists who want to become well-paid specialists.

For Remote Newbies:
I teach you how to start working online the smart way. No scams, no fluff, no guessing. Just strategy, Upwork expertise, and tools that help you land real clients.

Why People Come to Me
Because they’re done hiring VAs that ghost them, drain them, or can’t keep up

Because they need OBM support but aren’t ready to hire a full-time ops lead

Because they’re VAs who are sick of hustling and finally want to get booked out with boundaries

Because they’re curious about working online and want someone who gets it to guide them

One More Thing...

you’re not late. You’re just getting started.
